Are you looking for a new role as a Finance / Financial Controller within a progressive manufacturing company who have plans to grow and develop?

Group Finance Controller /Group Financial Controller / Financial Controller

Location: Daventry

Position: Full time, Permanent

Company Type: Manufacturing and Engineering

The opportunity:

You will be joining a well-established, developing company to lead and control the financial management across the business and provide expert reporting and analysis. You will deliver vigorous financial controls, efficient financial processes, and informed decision-making to support the leadership teams.

Key tasks include:

  • To maintain an accurate, efficient and well-controlled overall system of accounting processes and information, both for internal and external stakeholders and authorities.
  • To design, continually improve and actively manage the system of financial and management accounting and reporting.
  • To work with the leadership team to develop business strategies, build long-term business plans and financial models and contribute to the development of aspirational goals and targets.
  • Presentation of monthly financial performance to the leadership team and shareholders, including analysis of performance, highlighting areas for attention and recommendations for actions.

What are we looking for in a Group Financial Controller?

    • A professionally qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years experience, experience within a manufacturing environment would be preferable.
    • Proven experience of leading a multi-disciplined finance team and have experience in engagement with a business management team.
    • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills, with superb communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work in and adapt to a rapidly changing environment and can work on their own initiative while also having the ability to work co-operatively with others.
