A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Graduate to work as a Teaching Assistants within a cluster of Secondary Schools in Maldon, Essex and the surrounding areas. This work could lead onto you gaining a funded teacher trainee position as we help you to gain experience through short-term and longer-term positions.

START DATE: Immediate start

LOCATION: Maldon, Essex

Salary: £26,000per yearfor Full-Time.

KEY STAGES: Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (KS3 and KS4)

CONTRACT: Temporary and Permanent

THE ROLE – GRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT

If you are looking to apply for Secondary Teacher Training courses and are looking for paid experience to support your applications then working as a Graduate Teaching Assistant is exactly the role for you! We are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills, who can work on their own initiative and should have at least a 2:2 degree.

Working under the guidance of our client schools’ teaching staff, you will support pupils in and out of the classroom. Duties will include undertaking administrative duties, provide teaching support and assist with lunchtime duties at the school.

Graduate Teaching Assistants should have good communication skills as you will have to liaise with both students and teachers. The school will rely upon you to make sure all work set is completed to a good standard and that you work collaboratively with the class teachers at the school.
