Graduate Environmental Scientists for Trainee Asbestos Job

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a specialist National Asbestos company and start a career. The role comes with a thorough staged training process leading to a formal qualification and role as an asbestos analyst or surveyor. Ideal candidates will be A-Level or degree educated ideally in environmental science, geography or similar. The role is site based so you will be travelling on a day to day basis and requires flexibility to accommodate periods of working weekends and out of hours.
In return you will get full training and career progression with a starting salary of circa £19.2/17k, a company vehicle and smartphone.

The Role:

Asbestos Analysts travel from site to site carrying out air testing and using a microscope to count fibres found in the air. Analysts also inspect asbestos removal projects and certify the areas as safe for reoccupation.

Asbestos Surveyors travel from site to site surveying buildings to identify potential asbestos materials present, sample the materials and compile reports summing up their findings
