A unique opportunity to join a leading software house has arisen for a Graduate Entry Level Developer based in Worcester.
Job Title: Graduate Entry Level Developer
Location: Worcester, Worcestershire
Salary: £30,000per annum
Working as the Graduate Entry Level Developer you will work within Scrum teams to deliver new developments and enhancements to support our client’s current technical estate. Other duties include;
*Work closely with Developers to deliver technical solutions that enhance our client’s market position and technical estate.
*Hands on delivery of software working as a member of cross-functional Scrum teams.
*Produce, unit test and document manageable code that adheres to standards.
*Contribute to a continually improving Agile software development framework.
*Liaise with Scrum Team members establishing and implementing requirements and/or the resolution of live operational issues.
The successful candidate will be educated to degree level in an IT related discipline and will have an understanding of development in Microsoft, Java or development languages/frameworks and will ideally have had exposure to working on software applications, databases or websites. You will have strong problem solving and analysis skills and you will be able to plan tasks to achieve deadlines.
It is highly advantageous that you have experience working in an Agile environment and you have knowledge of general Insurance/Financial Services.
