Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year
Everyday Loans is a market leader within the financial services sector providing sub-prime loans in over 70 branches across the UK and currently has an opportunity for a Graduate Data Developer to join our Credit Risk team in Bourne End!
From our Head Office in Bourne End, the successful candidate will work with the Data Development Manager to maintain and enhance the SAS data warehouse and data load processes that support the BI and data needs of Everyday Loans.
The Role
Key Responsibilities include:
Data Integration
* Implement change requests using SAS Data Integration Studio
* Unit test and system test changes
* Identify and implement runtime efficiencies to the data load process
* Manage change control between development and production environments
* Monitor the servers and data load process and respond to issues that may arise
* Code bespoke SAS processes where necessary
Business Intelligence
* Create, maintain and remove BI functionality in line with changes to the business
* Administer, build and maintain reports on the company’s analytics platform, SAS Visual Analytics
* Develop ETL processes to support the creation of reports in SAS Visual Analytics or Excel format
Technology
* Gain an understanding of the data and BI solutions used by the company
* Build knowledge of the company’s data sources
Support
* Respond to ad-hoc requests for data and/or reports from areas of the business
* Provide support to non-specialist users of BI solutions
Skills & Experience
* A degree in a computing-related, IT-related or numerate subject
* Some experience of, exposure to, or aptitude for working with databases and/or programming languages
* Good knowledge of Excel
* Confident, independent problem solver
