Job Title- Graduate Civil Engineer
Location- South West, Devon
Sector- Civil Engineering
Contract- Permanent
Salary: £26,000 – £26,400+ Package

Our client are a national market leading Civil Engineering contractor who have been providing civil engineering services for well over 50 years and currently employ over 5,000 employees. They are currently looking for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join the team and carry out extensive work on the utilities framework.

My client are looking to appoint a graduate engineer on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will learn and gain experience of the industry through our clients training programmes however, our client are looking to take on someone ambitious who is keen to strive forward and show they can add real value to the company. Candidates must have creative work ethics and be commercially aware and capable of working well within a team environment. Other key skills include:

Sound mathematical and technical skills including physics
Ability to think methodically, to assist design, assist in planning and Assist projects
Assist in on site works, along side the site engineers with setting out and the site managers with documentation
Assist in maintaining an overview of projects while continuing to assist to technicalities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Assist in Negotiation, supervisory and delegating work.

Qualifications – You must have A degree or similar technical qualifications within Civil Engineering is preferred, no experience required, although if you do have experience of the industry, it will be advantageous.
