Generator Mechanic

Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per year

Working for this amazing organisation who have spearheaded a march into the European market and experiencing enoprmous growth as a result of this your role will be working between the hours of 830 and 5pm Monday to Friday working within the assembly and maintenance of generators.

You may be a Mechanical who has dealt withDiesel or Petrol Generators o rmotors or have the ability to turn your hand to anything. The client are looking for 3 years plus experience of working within the industry

Responsibilities

* Carry out jobs set by the Technical Manager or Supervisor

* Log and input data for returns that are returned for RTV, Warranty, Service or Repair

* Maintain a safe and clean working environment storing goods & tools in a methodical manner

* Support colleagues in working through prioritised job lists

* Help to keep records up to date and organised

* Maintain communication with Technical, Warehouse and Administration teams to ensure deadlines are met

* Maintain a high level of health & safety awareness of yourself and others

* Operate a forklift and reach truck (Not essential)

The ideal candidate for the vacancy should have the following skills and attributes:
• Qualified in mechanical or electrical engineering to NVQ Level 2
• Have 2-5years experience in similar professional environment is desirable but not essential as internal/external training can be provided.
• Be a highly motivated individual who will work proactively and flexibly
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Have excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships-good communicator
• Extremely well organised with attention to detail
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability
• Good timekeeper
• Fully willing to learn and develop your knowledge of engineering and develop within your role
