General Manager – Warehousing

Our Client, a Large-Blue Chip Builders Merchants, has a very exciting Opportunity for a GENERAL MANAGER at their DISTRIBUTION CENTRE in Warrington.

Our client looking for an engaging General Manager to lead and develop an experienced operations team in thier Primary Distribution Hub at Warrington. Principally you will be responsible for delivering Easy Supply of Product to other branches and customers through an engaged, productive and flexible on site team. You will create and lead a culture where all colleagues work safely together, are proud of their working environment, deliver consistently high standards for our customers, use continuous improvement to work more efficiently and develop an environment for learning. ‘Keeping People Safe’ is one of our cornerstones and you will lead this and ensure safe behaviours from all colleagues on site.

The site is 620,000 sq ft distributing to the north of the UK, with over 300 colleagues, as a successful candidate you will have experience of running a large multi-brand site. As our General Manager you will provide a professional and consistently high standard of service to our customer base of over 1200 direct “customers”, whilst operating within agreed financial budgets.
