Gas Engineer

Salary: £18 – £21.6 per hour

My client a well established heating contractor are looking for qualified Domestic Gas Engineers to join a great team of people working for one of our valued clients.

They are looking for Gas Engineers to work on occupied social housing properties within the South Yorkshire area.

Responsibilities:

• The day to day duties include undertaking both planned and reactive maintenance.
• Carrying out services within various properties.
• Attending breakdowns, to carry out fault-finding and repair works.
• Typical duties will include carrying out maintenance of domestic boiler systems.
• Work within void and occupied properties.
• Regular checks to ensure all tools and equipment necessary to complete maintenance and repairs are available and serviceable at all times.
• Liaise with management regarding any health & safety issues, ongoing repairs and maintenance.

Qualifications:

• City and Guilds qualification, relevant to position.
• ACS domestic Gas.
• Further qualifications are an additional bonus.
