Gas Engineer

Salary: £1,320 – £1,500 per day

Our client is one of the UK’s largest Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) contractors with a product/service portfolio ranging from M&E LV, HV, Instrumentation, Street Lighting, Facilities Management through to Combined Heat and Power solutions.

We are looking for a full – time commercial gas engineer to join our client’s team in West Sussex.

You’ll carry out a range of duties to include:

– Boiler repairs

– Servicing and installation

– Heating

You will be able to diagnose faults and replace parts as required and complete electronic job sheets as well as provide reports of works as required.

What do I need?

You will be Gas safe qualified and ideally OFTEC too, with an in-depth knowledge and hands on experience of all heating & plumbing systems. You’ll be experienced in providing technical expertise and customer service. You’ll have strong IT skills and a broad knowledge of electrics. Electrical qualifications would be advantageous. You’ll be experienced in adapting your style to different customers and stakeholders and will respect confidentiality at all times.

It is an essential requirement for this role that you have a full, current driving licence.
