Garden Centre Chef
Salary dependant on experience.
My client is looking for a Chef to join the kitchen in their busy kitchen within an award winning Garden Centre. Serving home cooked fresh food made from fresh ingredients throughout the day from their stylish modern kitchens.
Your responsibilities will include assisting the Head Chef to plan menus to achieve and maintain the budgeted food cost and maximise profits, ensure smooth running of the kitchen and maintain high levels of cleanliness and where required you will need to deputise for the Head Chef and over see all operational aspects of the kitchen.
Successful applicants will work retail style hours. There are fantastic opportunities for career progression as company develops its catering operation nationwide.
Previous experience as a Chef of Sous chef in a busy commercial restaurant, café or contract catering operation is essential.
