Our client works with businesses across the corporate, healthcare and education sectors to reduce the negative stigma associated with mental health and instead celebrate Mental Fitness. This exciting new role requires a full stack javascript engineer to work across a range of products, including a mobile app written in `react-native` for Android and iOS and also a SPA written in `react` and `Next.js`, and a `gatsby` static website, and our backend is fully cloud hosted with `GCP/Firebase`.

As a key part of the engineering team, you will work closely with other engineers, product, design and client facing members of the team. You will interact regularly with the whole team, including the Founders, to enable the evolution and the scaling of the SaaS and mobile platform. Role and Responsibilities:

●Working with the Head of Engineering, Product and Design in technical decision making and planning to support product growth

●Work with product to refine the vision and influence tech roadmap

●Work with other and more junior engineers and through PRs to ensure high quality of code

●Work on multiple codebases including mobile apps, webapps, websites, backend APIs, and integrations

●Code quality: responsible for creation of integration and e2e tests to ensure production quality

●Assessing feasibility and providing estimates on different candidate solutions at a micro and macro level

●Contributions to an Agile team, and working practises in order to maximise outcomes and ensure scalable velocity

Person specification Essential:

●Demonstrable excellence in javascript programming and react

●Ownership and responsibility over the codebase and its quality

●Experience in building and architecting complex software systems across the stack

●Good working knowledge of our tech stack, including React Native, Node/apis, React, Redux, Gatsby, Next, Firebase, Google Cloud Platform, git, ci

●Experience with working with a big three cloud platform

Person specification Desirable:

●Experience working with on data visualisation

●Experience of working on highly interactive web and mobile applications

●Experience working on ed tech products or products with recommendation engines

●A passion for psychology and mental fitness
