We are currently recruiting for an experienced Restaurant Front of House Manager for a well-established, local restaurant. Located close to Braintree, this is a favourite for locals, with customers returning on a regular basis for the superb dining and social experience. This venue is a pillar of the community, situated in a gorgeous Grade II listed building, with a restaurant, bar and lounge area.

We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Front of House Manager to join our clients small, dedicated team, someone who has ideally had 1-2 years’ experience in a similar position. You will need to be friendly, approachable and an all-round hospitality super-star! You will have had experience managing events, including weddings, be proficient with rotas, staff management and have a good knowledge of computer systems.

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the restaurant, liaising with the bar manager and kitchen staff, dealing with staffing issues and meeting and greeting diners as they arrive. You will need to have a bubbly personality, be approachable and a team player.

The restaurant is closed on Monday’s and Tuesdays so you will get set days off each week, providing a stable rota.
