Salary: £66,000 – £84,000 per year

Front End Developer, £55k to £70k, Remote or Hybrid London

Avanti Recruitment is working with a very successful ecommerce travel company who have just secured a big round of funding. Exciting time to join this team of talented Devs, tech stack React, UX/UI, JavaScript on front end, this is where you will be focused.

The successful candidate will have responsibility for all front-end related development work. This includes a good amount of greenfield projects, as well as performance and SEO improvements.

The website is a single page application developed in ReactJS with a serverless.Net Core API backend hosted in AWS.

Requirements;

Be flexible and grow within a fast-moving startup environment

Keep sight of the bigger picture such as:

* UX considerations

* Page load speed

* Browser caching strategies

* API payload optimization

Tech Skills;

* ReactJS – minimum 2 years commercial experience

* HTML + CSS

* JavaScript

* API integration

* Page load efficiency optimization

* Responsive design – mobile first

* AWS (S3, cloudfront etc.)

* GIT

Bonus skills:

* Visual Studio Code

* SEO considerations

* Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator

* Jira

* C#.Net Core

* Serverless architecture

* Static Site Generation

* Server-side rendering (next.js)

* Design patterns

* GraphQL
