Front End Developer – Marketing Agency

We are looking for a permanent Front-end Developer to join the Digital Marketing Team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to work across a variety of digital projects across our entire client base. You should be an experienced developer, preferably with previous agency experience, with a good understanding of responsive websites and html emails. A good eye for design, great attention to detail and a natural curiosity for new development methods are a must, plus a good working knowledge of:

– HTML/CSS
– Javascript
– MYSQL
– PHP
– WordPress

Responsibilities Front End Developer

– Assessment and understanding of the existing websites, architecture and data sources
– Visibility of Project Briefs as shared by the Digital Producer and Digital Operations Manager
– Participation in the technical scope of each new solution
– Understanding User experience, ensuring this is not hindered by the technical solution
– Identifying the implications of new developments, assessing risks, pre-requisites and impact to existing infrastructure and functionality. Develop effective test measures.
– Responsibility of the architecture of the website and data integration (where appropriate)
– Responsible for the development and delivery of new solutions as per agreed scope
– Developmental testing to ensure solutions created are technically sound (i.e. Unit Testing, Compatibility Testing, System Integration Testing, Stress/Load Testing)
– Carry out bug fixes as briefed
– Work with the Digital Producer and Digital Operations Manager in creating efficient technical solutions
