This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Structural Engineer to join a successful well established, Civil and Structural Design consultancy based in Brighton on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will be a 2,1 or First class Graduate Civil or Structural Engineer who is looking to progress in a Building Structures Environment. The successful candidate will get the chance to work on some unique and interesting projects throughout the commercial, leisure, residential and healthcare sectors, working on projects from inception through to completion.

In order to be considered for this Graduate Structural Engineer position you will;
-Have gained a strong degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
-You will me a Graduate Member of a relevant institution
-You will be competent in use of AutoCAD (Experience in use of Fastrak or Tedds would be beneficial)
-Any previous consultancy experience would be a distinct advantage
-You will have strong communication skills both written and verbal
-You will display a proactive, enthusiastic approach to work
Working as a Graduate Structural Engineer you will;
-Provide Structural Engineering support
-Generate structural calculations and specifications
-Carry out analysis using computer models and spreadsheets
-Undertake structural inspections and provide reports accordingly
-Check reinforcement drawings
-Liaise with clients
