The Company:
Our client is a well established international company, leader in their industry.

Main duties:
– To be in charge of the Credit Control and maximise the debt recovery
– To maintain an accurate record of customer accounts to ensure efficient customer service

The Role:
– To chase all outstanding debts over the phone and by email and take appropriate action
– To liaise with Accounts department regarding outstanding invoices
– To deal with both supplier and client invoices
– To obtain and review financial data to establish customer credit limits for each accounts
– To liaise with Sales and Customer Service departments regarding credit issues
– To prepare monthly reports for the Management
– To resolve credit issues on a daily basis
– To regularly update customer database to keep a tight record of outstanding payments and agreed resolutions
– To resolve complaints in an efficient and polite manners
– To achieve monthly targets (ie debt recovery, client satisfaction, team work…)

The Candidate:
– Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
– Fluency in another European language (ie Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese…) would be a strong asset but not essential
– Previous experience in Credit Control within Accounts or Finance
– Strong analytical skills
– Target driven
– Strong numeracy skills
– A keen learner
– Excellent communication skills
– Highly organised
– A natural problem solver
– Team player
– Able to work in a fast paced environment under minimum supervision
– Educated from GCSE level

Salary:
circa £26,000 per year + Bonus up to £26,000 per year (based on individual and collective performances)
