Freelance Senior Site Manager

Salary: £336 – £378 per day

Our client is a National Tier 1 contractor who have an excellent reputation who work with clients on a repeat basis.

Sectors they work within are education, healthcare, leisure, commercial and mixed use.

They are looking for a Senior Site Manager on a large scheme in Manchester to oversee all the Health & Safety operations on site.

Key Objectives

• Responsible for the day-to-day Health and Safety on site
• To actively promote safety with direct employees, agency staff and sub-contractors
• To always set a personal example, particularly in the wearing of PPE
• Accidents on site are kept to 0%

Key Deliverables

• Responsible for the planning and activities for Health and safety records.
• Ensuring the onsite labour team have the correct skills and qualifications for the roles they are carrying out on site
• Ensuring the appropriate management systems, work processes and procedures are up to date
• Responsible for all aspects of onsite Health & Safety to ensure compliance with legislation and company procedures are up to date
• Managing Health & Safety performance on site ensuring any accidents are avoided.

The successful candidate will have Tier 1 contracting experience of working on large schemes in excess of £100million+
