Forwarding / Transport Assistant

My client is the UK’s leading independent agricultural merchant. Due to their continued expansion they are now seeking a Forwarding/Transport Assistant in their Swaffham Office.

This is a challenging and varied position working in a strong team environment involving liaison with farmers and Hauliers.

Duties will include…..

Call growers to pre-advise of loading.

Speak to Hauliers to set up loads.

Deal with claims,rejections and problems as they occur.

Forward Planning/Allocations.

Process month end roll.

Update and maintain loading systems for export.

You will have excellent organisational and communication skills,be IT literate and be a team player.
