Food & Beverage Assistant (Waiter / Waitress)

Our client is a highly respected restaurant, specialising in modern French cuisine, located in North West London.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you should have at least 1 years experience as a Food & Beverage Assistant, ideally within a fine dining environment.

You will be immaculately presented, with exceptional ability to be attentive and responsive to the customers needs.

Our client requires potential candidates to:

Be able to follow instruction efficiently
Have a basic knowledge of beers and wines
Be professional and friendly at all times
Be exceptionally organised

Be flexible and adaptable
Have a good level of English and Maths
Ability to lift heavy trays with food, glass and tablewareIt goes without saying that you will spend the majority of your shift on your feet, and breaks will need to be taken around service requirements.

Key Responsibilities include:

Great guests and make them feel comfortable
Take beverage and food orders
Learn menu items and be able to describe them appropriately to guests
Deliver beverages and food in a timely manner
Check-in with guests to ensure that everything is going well
Clear dirty dishes from table
Refill beverages throughout the meal
Deliver guest’s bill and thank them for dining at the restaurant
Work with other servers and be a team player
