Salary: £31,200 – £42,000 per year

Our Client

Our client are a leading specialist flooring contractor with an extensive portfolio of work nationally. They are a specialist flooring and hygienic wall cladding company who provide bespoke solutions for the flooring and wall cladding markets on a national level.

They are looking to employ a highly skilled floor layer to work on commercial projects across the whole of the UK. The role will include travel and working away.

Specialising in a wide range of markets including

• Commercial

• Retail

• Health & Medical

• Social Housing

• Industrial

• Care & Retirement Homes

• Education (Schools and Universities)

• Local Government

• High street Coffee Shop Chains

Key Experience

Our client is looking for Skilled floor layers who are experienced with working with the following materials and can competently install

• • LVT/Amtico installations
  • Wood/laminate flooring
  • Carpet tiles and broadloom carpet
  • Vinyl’s and safety vinyl’s
  • Coved skirting
  • Marmoleum
  • Epoxy Flooring
  • Carpets & Bespoke Carpets / Traditional Fits
  • Carpet Tiles
  • Luxury Vinyl Tiles
  • Hygienic Wall Cladding
  • Solid and Engineered Woods

Requirements:

• All manner of sub-floor preparation – screeding
• Full UK Driving licence – no more than 6 points
• Required to drive to site daily from home – the majority of the work is within a 2-hour radius of Huddersfield, though at times further travel will be necessary and occasional overnight stays will be required (all expenses met)
• CSCS Card is essential
• A friendly positive disposition with a can do attitude

They are willing to pay a competitive £31,200 – £42,000 and £35,000 depending on experience and provide a company vehicle and all tools needed. The company also offer additional incentives, career progression opportunities and competitive pension scheme and holiday allowance.
