Spring Personnel

Salary: £26,000 per year

Our client based at London Luton Airport, are offering some great opportunities for Flight Dispatcher’s to join them on a part time seasonal basis, starting in the next 3 weeks.
In order to be meet the criteria required, you will need to;
*Hold a full driving license
*Be able to work any hours covering a 24/7 operation with no restrictions ( IE study etc)
*Be able to make your own way to London Luton Airport 24/7
*Provide Eligibility to work in the UK
*Be happy to undertake a Basic Disclosure
*Must not have lived outside the UK for more than 6months at a time in the last 5 years.
*Provide 5 years written references and support any gaps of 30 days or more
*Have a customer service background

Successful candidates will play a vital role in the departure of aircraft. You will need to posses the follow skills:
*Excellent attention to detail
*Clear communication skill both written and oral
*A good command of the English language both written and oral
*The ability to follow and adhere to procedures at all times.
*A strong team player
*Be comfortable working with numbers
This is a very responsible role; some of the requirements are outlines below:
*Prepare flight documentation prior to each flight
*Communicate timely and effectively with the relevant departure gate staff and initiate pre-boarding of passengers in a timely manner and in line with customer airline policy.
*Ensure all ground staff remain at the head of stand or in their vehicles until the aircraft has stopped, anti-collision lights are off and engines are spooled down. Only then, can the aircraft be approached by the person or persons responsible for chocking the aircraft and ensuring its security.
*Communicate timely and effectively with the Captain and cabin Crew at the earliest opportunity. Briefing with the crew must include any specials, turn time, agreed time for boarding, fuel figures etc. Complete accurate flight documentation and reports, before and after flights, for airlines and compile documents within a flight file appropriately.
*Ensure all Health and Safety standards are being met during the turnround.
*Report any deficiencies, damage, poor behaviour, irregularity, delays in the operation of the aircraft turnround irrespective of circumstances.
*Wear the supplied uniform to company standards and clearly show airside identity pass at all time
