Fit Out / Finishing Foreman (Working)

My client is a leading basement specialist company in London. They are experts in basement excavation, basement conversions and basement construction. My client also has extensive experience fitting out basements and with high spec residential refurbishment projects.

My client now has a position available for an experienced Working Foreman to oversee all fit out and finishing works.

Responsibilities:
• Day to day management of the site
• Coordinating sub-contractors and direct employees
• Ensuring all works are carried out safely
• Ordering materials and checking deliveries
• Updating site diaries and paperwork
• Ensuring all work is carried out the required standard
• Working as on the “tools” as required
• Reporting to a visiting Contracts Manager
• Liaising with the “client”
• Ensuring the site is tidy
• Ensuring the projects runs to programme

Requirements:
Carpentry background (preferred)
Minimum of 5 years experience working as a Supervisor
Good experience working on “high end” finishes
SSSTS or SMSTS
Must be able to provide good references (verbal)

Immediate start available. All projects are in the Chelsea / Barnes areas.

Initially this will be a contract position with the possibility of going “direct”.
