Fire & Security Engineer

My client are a FTSE 250 business providing facilities, property and asset management for some of the biggest public and private sector businesses. They specilaise in strategic outsourcing and energy services, bringing together expertise and capabilities to help their clients achieve their organisational goals. In simple terms, they find out what their clients want and use their people and technology to help them get it as efficiently as possible. They have revenues in excess of £1.8bn and a reputation for being the best in their business.

They currently have an opening for a Fire & Security Engineer who will work within a team of engineers and be responsible for the carrying out of maintenance compliance, reactive repairs and minor installation to Fire & Security systems.

The main responsibilities will include –
*Taking a proactive role in ensuring all planned and reactive tasks are carried out in accordance with the relevant standards and service levels.
*Attendance on time and completion of certification to SLA’s.
*Operate and adhere to Health & Safety policy and procedures at all times.
*Responsibility for the accuracy of recorded drawings and device messaging.
*Complete documentation on time and communicate regularly with helpdesk.
*Understand and complete all work related documentation accurately.

Your experience should include –
*Previous experience and qualifications within the fire and security industry.
*Experience of conventional fire control panels
*Experience of fire alarm devices
*Fire alarm sounder systems
*Intruder Alarm maintenance
*CCTV maintenance
