Fire Consulting Engineer

Salary: £36,000 – £60,000 per year

The company is a very well established and respected fire engineering support company based in London. They can boast some VERY well know projects they have dealt with and provide fire engineering support (structural and internal) at the concept, design, and construction phases. They deal all over the UK as well as the Middle East, Africa, and Eastern Europe.

Due to expansion they are recruiting for a Fire Consulting Engineer, you will be:-

• Based from their office in Canary Wharf on the City of London – 50/50 split between the office and remote of you want
• Working with a wide range of clients within the commercial sector, shopping centres, hotels, offices etc across the UK and also internationally
• Dealing with clients at the initial design stage, the developmental stage, and the construction phase making sure that the structures and internal systems are compliant with current fire regulations
• Reviewing drawings to confirm or change things to make sure it is up to the fire codes

Skills needed

• Living within travelling distance to Canary Wharf in London
• Be at least educated to degree level (BEng or MEng) within with either a fire or engineering sector
• Experience needed within the fire industry dealing with design, projects and compliance regarding structural and internal equipment
• Having experience with CFD would be very beneficial but is not essential
