Financial Reporting Manager

Fairhive is a non-profit affordable housing provider with ambition. We already provide affordable housing to more than 20,000 people in our community but we want to do more. That’s why we are striving to provide 1,000 additional homes by 2025.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant with significant relevant experience, to lead our financial reporting team based in Aylesbury, working partly in the office and remotely.

Areas of responsibility will include: production of financial reports, budgets, forecast, maintenance of finance reporting systems, and preparation of financial statements.

On the Job you will:

• Be responsible for the day to day management of the financial reporting function, ensuring financial reporting systems are accurate and effective.
• Produce annual budget, quarterly forecasts and ensure robust budgetary control.
• Produce consolidated Financial Statements and be the first point of contact for external audits.
• Be responsible for providing customer focused financial business partnering service.
• Lead, motivate and support staff  to deliver a quality service.

About You

We’re looking for someone who understands how to connect with people and has proven track record of achievements including meeting deadlines.

The ideal candidate will have; over 5 years post qualification experience , worked in social housing or similar industry, experienced in managing a team and proven record of producing finance reports accurately and on a timely basis.
