Exciting opportunity for a high caliber individual looking for a Financial Reporting Manager role in a growing organisation with a supportive culture, work-life balance and opportunity for progression.
My client is a growing accounting and business advisory firm who is looking to expand their finance function by adding a Financial Reporting Manager to the team. This is a fantastic role for a qualified accountant who previously worked in an accounting practice.
The Role
Reporting into the Director of Portfolio Accounting, this role is responsible for:
- Oversee the preparation of statutory accounts for individual entities and consolidated accounts in accordance with UK GAAP and IRFS.
- Consolidation accounting and reporting including intercompany transactions, foreign currency translation and consolidation adjustments.
- Ensuring all month end, quarter end and year end reporting is completed to a high standard.
- Working closely with auditors to facilitate the audit process.
- Assist in the development and implementation of internal processes and controls.
- You will regularly interact with clients and senior management, meaning that stakeholder management skills and an affable personality are a must.
- This role requires a strong performer and somebody with the ambition and intellect to apply their own insights were possible and suggest improvements to existing processes.
Your Background
You are a qualified accountant with at least 3 years post qualified experience. Ideally, you will be making your first move from a top-tier or mid-tier accounting firm.
Location
Central London with WFH flexibility.
