Financial Reporting Accounant

A large financial services business is looking to recruit a Senior Regulatory Reporting Accountant to assist the Finance Manager. The successful individual will be responsible for:

* The accurate compilation and review of the Society FCA/PRA and Bank of England monthly and quarterly reports ensuring compliance to guidance and error free reporting.

* Direct liaison with the Society’s regulators (Bank of England / FCA) for any reporting queries raising issues to Head of Regulatory Reporting as necessary.

* Ownership of new reporting requirements, interpret guidance, propose and implement any future developments in the regulatory reporting as required.

* Full responsibility for the interpretation and completion of routine and adhoc information requests.

* For ensuring the department complies with Society-wide risk management frameworks in all work undertaken including the EUC policy, Contingency plan documentation and operational risk event reporting.

You will be a qualified accountant, either ACA, ACCA, CIMA with 2 years PQE, ideally gained in a financial services organisation. To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent stakeholder management skills with a proactive approach and the credibility to influence senior managers and Directors. You will possess excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
