As Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, financial reporting, and compliance. You will work closely with various teams and senior management to support informed decision-making and contribute to the overall financial health of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate for this Financial Reporting Manager role will be responsible for the following:

  • Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Oversee and reconcile intercompany transactions.
  • Lead and participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and variances, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax-related matters.
  • Support the finance team in ad-hoc projects and initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a relevant degree in accountancy, economics or business.
  • Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
