Financial Reporting Manager

As Financial Reporting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, financial reporting, and compliance. You will work closely with various teams and senior management to support informed decision-making and contribute to the overall financial health of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate for this Financial Reporting Manager role will be responsible for the following:
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Oversee and reconcile intercompany transactions.
- Lead and participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and variances, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax-related matters.
- Support the finance team in ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
Key Requirements
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a relevant degree in accountancy, economics or business.
- Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
