£54,000 – £66,000 per annum + flexible benefits package (buy & sell holiday) + company bonus (individual/company) + company car/car allowance (paid monthly)

Prince Personnel are working in exclusive partnership with a leading corporate financial services organisation based in Telford, who are looking to appoint a Finance Manager to lead their invoice finance team in a newly created permanent job role which has been devised owing to business growth.

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) or be suitably qualified by experience and should be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills, the ability to present finance information to non-finance personnel and should be able to show past examples of reviewing processes and improving/implementing new financial systems.

You will take responsibility for:

• Leading the financial services finance team of 2 to ensure the maintenance of accurate accounts for the business
• Ensuring efficient processes with regards to key inter-dependencies involved in work administered by the finance/operations team, liaising with the operations manager as appropriate
• Managing the month end process – preparation of financial reporting and analysis including management accounts and cost centre reporting
• Liaising with Group Treasury with reference to funding requirements and managing the business’s cash position
• Presenting the quarterly balance sheet for review by the Group FC and Head of Finance
• Maintaining accounting policies, in accordance with group guidelines
• Ensuring accounting policies within the group are adhered to and that financial results are reporting in accordance with international accounting standards
• The provision of financial information as required for statutory reporting, parent company reporting and tax purposes
• Managing the external audit process, including the year-end audit and quarter end reviews
• Managing the internal audit request
• Ensuring J-SOx compliance
• Guiding the business on compliance with Group policies, e.g. delegation of authority, purchase to pay, expenses etc.
• Completion of industry regulatory reporting – financial services/invoice finance

We are looking for an experienced finance leader. A background in invoice finance/banking/financial services is preferred. Experience of Oracle would also be beneficial but is not essential. Free on-site parking and easily accessible by public transport routes.
