Financial Controller

Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 per year

Financial Controller – About The Role

* Helping to deliver month end on time and accurately

* Help developing IT systems and controls to develop a best in class finance environment

* Move the business towards a controls based audit

* Work with M&A and the integration team, as required, to tease out any valuation or technical problems early on cycle

* Write technical papers and maintain a day to day relationship with the auditiors on material transactions, agreeing sign off of any unusual transactions as early as possible

* Deliver technical projects (e.g. hive up of assets from entities and value of acquisitions)

* Involvement with transfer pricing implementation

* Periodic review of SAP for compliance and evolvel both controls and day to day process with Finance Manager

* Help evolve the business model to take in acquisitions and move the business to higher growth

To be successful in this Financial Controller position, it is essential that you have the following skills and experience:

* ACA qualification

* Experience of auditing of clients in a reputable accountancy practice

* Group consolidation

* A good technical knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS

* FRS102 to IFRS transition project

* Multi currency experience

* Multi entity experience

* Financial controls

* Adaptable to change and ability to work in an agile enviroment

* An accomplished problem solver who can work through complex issues

* Denonstrable integrity and high ethical standards

* Results oriented with high levels of accountability and ownership with a results driven mentality
