Financial Accountant – Business Process Control

Both a temporary and permanent position exist for this role in Hull with one of our major clients undergoing a period of change and restructure.

THE ROLE

As part of a major restructure in the finance team, a role has emerged for a qualified accountant to take on the position of Finance Business Process Lead. The role will focus on the control of the offshored finance processes and report into Finance Manager. Not a traditional financial accounting role, the position requires a qualified finance professional to undertake the duties and responsibilities required. The role will include monitoring daily/weekly KPI reports and compliance with targets and process, work with the operations teams to ensure resourcing plans are accurate, develop reconciliations and review process documentation. Excellent inter-personal and communication skills will be required at both local level and also with the global process team.

THE CANDIDATE
*Qualified accountant – CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent
*Excellent communicator, strong systems literacy (preferably with SAP), good analytical and investigative skills, an eye for detail
*Immediate availability or short notice for the interim role, notice period acceptable for the permanent position.

THE BENEFITS:

C£40,000 – £45,000 pro rata for the interim position. The permanent position will also attract car/car allowance + bonus + healthcare + pension
