Financial Accountant Assistant – Contract

Salary: £360 – £408 per day

Our client a global software company is seeking a qualified Accountant to assist the Finanace Director for a range of financial accounting duties including US GAAP. This is a 12 month contract with remote working initially.

SKILLS

* Strong technical (US GAAP) and financial accounting expertise.

* ACA qualified. 2-3 yrs+ post-qual experience

* Month end close experience (Journals and reconciliations)

* Compliance filing experience (Financial statement preparation, VAT, Corporate tax)

* Aaccounting software package.(Oracle financials preferred)

* Previous experience at US parented company very useful

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Participate in the month and quarter end accounts, present financial transactions and events in accordance with US GAAP.

* Perform non-routine financial analysis and moderately complex modeling projects.

* Compliance filings on a monthly basis (VAT, Corporate tax)

* Participate in the preparation of Statutory accounts & prepare various supporting schedules and support for annual statutory & ad hoc tax audits
