Salary: £48,000 – £60,000 per year

As Financial Accountant will be rewarded with a competitive salary, great benefits, flexible working and be responsible for:
* Ownership and delivery of general financial accounting operations including:
* month and end-year processes
* accounts payable / receivable, inter-company transactions
* payroll and benefits – check and approve payroll reports from external
payroll provider, process the PAYE monthly payments on the HMRC portal.
* cashflow forecasting, including revenue and expenditure variance analysis
* treasury, budgeting, and fixed asset tracking
* general ledger, cash, and receipts
* monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports and
statements for internal or external auditing purposes
* Project accounting, reporting and analysis
* Supporting proposals, overhead costs, budgets, audits etc.
* Preparation and submission of VAT returns
* Liaising with external accountant
To be considered for the role of Financial Accountant you will:
* Be educated to degree level or equivalent and professional qualification – CIMA, ACCA or ACA.
* Have previous commercial experience in a similar roleHave good knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulationsHave experience creating financial statements, accounts, and reportsHave experience with general ledger functions and the month / year end financial processesHave excellent attention to detail and accuracyHave experience with software packages Xero, or Quickbooks, would be an advantage
* Have experience with ECOS will be an advantage.
