Finance Manager / Financial Controller

Salary: £60,000 – £78,000 per year

Our client is one of Europe’s fastest-growing tech startups and they are backed by a renowned group of investors. Due to substantial growth they are now looking to recruit their first accounts person as a Financial Controller / Finance Manager to help set up processes and systems as well as managing all aspects of accounting and cashflow to ensure that the business can hit its ambitious growth plans.

Working closely with the Founders and Senior Advisors you will assist with preparing for Series B financing as well as providing proactive, insightful, high-quality analysis to support decision making (e.g. pricing). You will also own all the day-to-day finances in the business, building and structuring a finance team as the company grows, producing scenario modeling and business casing for multiple initiatives and layering this into financial planning and you will provide frequently updated and accurate views on cash position and other key financials.

This role requires a bright and ambitious qualified accountant with experience in a fast-paced environment (startup / consulting / tech or anything else that you think equips you to excel in this environment). As this business is in the early stages of growth you will need to be comfortable that some of the current processes and systems are unstructured so you should be excited to be part of a fast-moving startup from the earliest days and helping build an amazing company.
