Role: Finance Ledger Assistant – Treasury

Location: Whiteley (Hyrbid working)

Salary: £23,500

Fantastic Hours: Mon – Fri, 8:30am – 5pm

The task at hand: We are looking for a Finance Ledger Assistant to join our Ledger team. Your role will be to assist the ledger teams with the daily administration of receipts and payments.

Responsibilities will include: 

  • Provide support for bank reconciliation for all bank accounts, ensuring the bank is fully reconciled at the end of the month as part of the month end closure.
  • Reconciling Opayo, Corporate cards, cheques as necessary preparing and uploading journals.
  • Posting of bank receipts and matching to customers invoices (high volume).
  • Assist in exporting bank statements.
  • Assisting with invoice uploads and creation of ad hoc manual invoices.
  • Ensuring correct and accurate information on supplier/customer accounts is maintained.
  • Assist in ad hoc projects to improve processes within the transactional team.

You’ll be great in this role if: You are accurate when processing tasks at a high volume when working to strict deadlines. You will have the ability to work with multiple systems including Sage X3. You will be comfortable with changing priorities and embrace change in order to deal with frequent changes to process, roles and tasks.
