Salary: £48,000 – £60,000 per year

Finance Controller

Reporting to the Finance Director, this role is based within a well established and successful manufacturing company. The role is permanent, full time and is fully office based

Key Duties

– Preparation of accurate and timely management accounts

– Maintenance of cashflow forecast and appropriate management of cash

– Management of Accounts Assistant and support in day-to-day accounting functions

– Maintenance of key business relationships with suppliers, debtors and other external bodies

– Provision of ad hoc financial information and analysis

– Liaise with external accountants in production of annual financial accounts

Experience, Qualifications and skills

– Excellent technical accounting knowledge and skills

– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to challenge and question while maintaining positive relations with all

– Knowledge of Sage 50/200, strong Excel skills, knowledge of MRP systems and payroll functions

– Experience of accounting within a manufacturing business preferred – CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or part qualified or qualified by experience
