Job Description

We are Eden Futures, and we deliver exceptional support services for people aged 18 and over who have learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health and associated complex needs.

Eden Futures provides high quality, person centred care, support and enablement for people with disabilities and support needs. We develop services around the individual at all stages of their care pathway from treatment and support under the Mental Health Act, on discharge from hospital under a CTO, to lifestyle support in the community.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join an ambitious, fast-growing Private Equity-backed businesses operating in the healthcare sector. The main purpose of this role will be to provide administrative support within the finance department.

Successful candidates will be required to have a Standard DBS check prior to commencing employment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Posting of all Bank Receipts & Bank Payments daily, and completing all Transfers
  • Direct Debit/Standing Order Control
  • Prepare Bank Reconciliations
  • Petty Cash Administration
  • Assist with Expenses & Company Credit Cards
  • All Purchase Ledger Posting along with Weekly BACS Payments
  • Ensure all purchase invoices are approved in line with company policy
  • Monitoring of the purchase ledger email inbox
  • Liaise directly with suppliers on any disputes / invoicing issues
  • Assist daily in any needs of the Management Accountant
  • General Administration including emails, telephone calls and filing.
  • To attend any training deemed as necessary in order to effectively fulfil the role.
  • To undertake qualifications if necessary or appropriate
  • To monitor own development and keep personal training records up to date

The Ideal Candidate

  • Basic Excel skills
  • Experience in finance, ideally within a finance assistant / purchase ledger clerk role an advantage
