We are currently looking for a Finance Assistant to join our team.

The Role
As a Finance Assistant, you will deliver a range of day-to-day finance tasks such as credit control, transactional processing and supplier audits.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will manage supplier audits and disputes, ensuring invoicing is accurate and support the team with all aspects of customer information and billing.
Additionally, your role will involve:
– Supporting credit control activities
– Assisting in collections from difficult accounts
– Liaising with suppliers to resolve finance queries and disputed invoices
– Maintaining full audit trails of communications and agreements
– Managing all aspects of supplier information, supplier invoicing and payment runs
– Processing supplier invoices and maintaining accurate and timely records
– Processing and controlling staff expenses
About You
To join us as Finance Assistant, you will need:
– A degree in Finance or a related equivalent business qualification or substantial specific Finance experience
– Experience of communicating with senior internal and external stakeholders
– To be fully PC literate and be able to use Microsoft Excel at an intermediate or advanced level
– A high level grasp of English language (first language or business fluency)
– A full and clean driving licence
Experience of using Xero on all aspects of day-to-day processing and preparation of monthly management accounts journals would be beneficial to your application, as would experience in the reconciliation and control of balance sheet accounts.
Credit control experience and experience of managing day-to-day working capital would also be advantageous.
