Finance Assistant

Salary: £26,000 per year

Peopleforce Recruitment are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our busy finance and administration team. This will be a very varied role supporting the business with administration and finance related tasks and gaining experience working in a busy office environment. The immediate team currently consists of 2 other people. Your main duties will be:

• Entering timesheets onto payroll system
• Keeping payroll system up to date
• Producing schedules in MS Excel
• Assisting with purchase ledger/accounts payable
• Producing contracts and documents from templates
• Formatting CVs
• Assisting with payroll queries

Applicants for this position do not need to have experience in the same role however previous experience of working in an office environment would be advantageous. Applicants will need to have and be able to demonstrate the following skills:

• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to multi task
• Good understanding of MS Excel
• Good written and spoken English language

Peopleforce will be able to offer full training for this role and candidates who wish to undertake an apprenticeship in Business Administration whilst working will also be offered this opportunity. 

Due to the team-working and collaborative nature of the role, this is a full time office based role and will be located in central Brighton within easy reach of the station, bus routes and public car parks.
