Finance and Membership Officer

My client, a non-profit charitable organisation, is seeking an Finance and Membership Officer. The purpose of the post is to process the finance and membership systems of the organisation and provide the first point of contact for external enquiries.

The right person must have the ability to organise and prioritise own workload and meet deadline, excellent attention to detail, strong IT skills and the confidence to apply them to new and bespoke systems, strong team working and interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to actively listen to people’s needs. You must also have customer service experience and/or working with the public. It would be great if you have experience of book keeping, payroll, experience of handling VAT, experience of preparing management accounts and reports on financial performance.

Contract: Temporary. Initially for four months, rolling monthly contract thereafter

Salary: £26,000per year
