Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Finance Analyst to join our finance team. As a Finance Analyst, you will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, providing insights, and supporting strategic decision-making within the organization. You will be responsible for conducting financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and generating reports to help drive financial performance and optimize resource allocation. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.

Responsibilities:
1. Financial Analysis:
– Conduct detailed financial analysis, including profitability analysis, cost analysis, and variance analysis, to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
– Analyze and interpret financial data, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights and recommendations to management.
– Develop financial models and forecasts to support business planning and decision-making processes.
– Evaluate financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks, highlighting areas for improvement.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:
– Collaborate with various departments to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
– Monitor and analyze budget vs. actual performance, providing timely and accurate reports to stakeholders.
– Identify deviations from budget and provide recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
– Support the development of financial targets, objectives, and strategies.

3. Financial Reporting:
– Prepare regular financial reports, management dashboards, and presentations for senior management and other stakeholders.
– Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of financial information and compliance with regulatory requirements.
– Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
– Analyze financial results and trends, explaining key drivers and presenting findings to management.

4. Business Support and Decision-Making:
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze investment opportunities, conduct feasibility studies, and assess financial viability.
– Provide financial insights and guidance to support strategic initiatives, new product launches, and business expansion plans.
– Participate in financial reviews and presentations, contributing financial expertise and analysis.

5. Process Improvement:
– Identify areas for process improvement within the finance function, recommending and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
– Continuously evaluate and streamline financial processes, ensuring adherence to best practices and internal controls.

Qualifications and Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or ACCA are a plus).
– Proven experience as a Finance Analyst or similar role, preferably in a corporate finance or financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
– Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and advanced MS Excel skills.
– Knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
– Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
– Experience with financial systems and software (e.g., ERP systems, financial planning tools) is desirable.
