£33,600 – £38,400 P/A plus Monthly Car Allowance
Smart Solutions are pleased to be working in partnership with a leading global manufacturer, who have a permanent opportunity for a Field Support Technician covering a Region.
The Field Technician will offer onsite expertise in the operation and production of their total production fluid needs. Working within the Technical Services Team the Field Technician will provide customer support on a regional basis
Duties of the Field Support Technician
As part of a multifunctional team providing our customers with fully integrated products and services the key responsibilities of the role are to:
- Provide on-site fluid management and condition monitoring services to our customers
- Provide service visits and cover at various other customer locations for our ‘Total Fluid Management’ operations
- Carry out routine technical support visits for the purposes of fluids monitoring and equipment condition monitoring.
- Assist with small engineering projects associated with fluids handling e.g. oil storage, pipework, pump installations etc.
- Assist with lubrication plant surveys, product trials and machine clean outs etc.
Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday: 40 hours per week
This is a field-based role, where you will work from a home base, with the requirement to travel and spend periods away from home during the working week
Overnight stays may be required
