Field Service Engineers (White Goods/Domestic Appliances)

£26,000 – £31,200 per year + bonus, vehicle, expenses, healthcare, pension etc

Concept Resourcing are currently recruiting for a successful multi-branded retailer who work with a variety of domestic appliance manufacturers selling and repairing washing machines, dish washers, fridges, freezers, cookers, tumble dryers etc.

They currently have a number of roles available for experienced White Goods Engineers (both electrically biased and gas safe) to repair domestic appliance products in customer’s homes. Providing excellent technical services to our customers, whilst operating within a safe working environment and following company best practice.

Expectations

• Maintaining contact with customers keeping them up to date with excepted arrival times.
• Strive for a first time fix at every possible opportunity.
• Engaging the customer in their home, keeping them informed and updated while repairing their product.
• Ensuring a high first time fix rate is maintained.
• Maintaining contact with the customer service centre, ensuring daily developments are recorded.
• Hit targets agreed with managers on a regular basis.
• Manage and maintain product spares in-line with company best practice.
• Report and document outcomes of repair work and ensure cost effective decisions are made with regard to write offs
• Maintain and update technical knowledge in a proactive manner

Skills & Knowledge

The successful candidates will have a proven track record in service and repair of all domestic appliances with multi brand experience, along with the following:

• Full UK driving licence
• Live a commutable distance from the area.
• Knowledge and awareness of Electrical or Electronic servicing
• Manufacturer/In-house training on various brands/products.
• Experience in White Goods electrical fault finding, testing and repair.

The following would act as an advantage but are not necessarily essential:

• Hold a gas safe status, ideally CCN1 and CKR1.
• Experienced/trained on systems and compressor changes.
