The Role
Reporting directly into the Service Manager, the role of Field Service Engineer will involve working at customer sites primarily across the Midlands/South areas of the UK.
The key aspects of the role are:
* Install and commissioning of machine tools.
* Servicing and repair of machine tools.
* Training customers in use and operation of new equipment.
* Fault finding and repair of equipment.
* Regular travel with occasional overnight stays.
The Person
As a Field Service Engineer, you will ideally have an engineering background and will be a time served machinist and have gained experience of maintaining and servicing machine tools. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, flexible and will have exposure to a well-travelled service role. You must be customer focused and be able to handle high pressure situations. Knowledge of Fanuc and Heidenhain will be desirable.
