Field Service Engineer

Salary: £37,200 – £48,000 per year

Ideal for an Engineer who has a mix of electrical and mechanical and machinery maintenance skils, who wants to get into Field Service Engineering.

The company is a world-class PLC controlled, automated machinery company, with customers in the automotive, aerospace, packaging, plastics, food manufacturing industries. Their workload and orders for new machines have increased, and will do so in future. Hence the need for an extra Service Engineer.

You’ll work from the local office to be trained on the company’s machinery, and then gradually progress from maintenance calls to service and breakdown calls, to full commissioning of new machinery.

BUT to do that, you’ll need to come in with a mix of qualifications, machinery fault finding and repair experience in a factory environment, (could be packaging, machine tools, processing, manufacturing machines for example) and an interest in a mobile role with a friendly, progressive machinery engineering company.
