Thera East has an exciting opportunity available for a Female Support Worker to join our team in Lexden. You will join us on a full-time or part-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £11.30 per hour.

About the role:
As a valued Female Support Worker with Thera East you will be part of an inclusive team supporting adults with a learning disability. You will be working in Colchester in two shared supported living bungalows with 7 individuals who love shopping, going out for lunch, Cinema, and a variety of activities . Personal care is required .This is an exciting opportunity to work with different individuals with different needs which will give a varied working week and opportunities to use a variety of skills you already have or would like to develop for career progression. Drivers are essential for this post
What we’re looking for in our Female Support Worker:
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- No previous experience or qualifications required, full training will be provided
- Compassionate, Caring and Confident
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter, with a high level of motivation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Confident, articulate, and professional
- Keenness to learn in a fast-paced environment and creatively solve problems
- Desire to embrace our values and vision and have fun!
