Female 1-2-1 Support Worker Young People

Capita Social Care Resourcing are recruiting for female Support Workers who are passionate about making a positive impact on young people’s lives for a leaving care organisation in Bristol, this vacancy is a genuine occupational requirement permitted under Schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

The role of support required will be to teach life skills, promote independence and to safeguard the young person within the transition into Leaving Care. The end goal is to equip/enable the young people with the necessary skills for independent life after they leave the care system at the age of 18.

This will be predominantly 24 hour care with shifts ranging from 08.00-23.00 with a sleep-in, please only apply if you are able to work the above shifts.

The Organisation is currently number 1 with local authorities throughout the UK and urgently require male support workers to join their team on a temporary contract basis.

In return you will be offered a minimum of 30 hours per week fulltime with excellent Salary: s.

The ideal candidates will be flexible and able to work shifts on a rota basis including weekends.

You must have:

NVQ level3 or equivalent
Child Protection Training
Car driver
