Faults Advisor / Technical Agent

The role is to provide technical support to the company’s large portfolio of business clients. The successful candidate will have a background in 1st, 2nd or 3rd line technical support for connectivity/line faults.

Agents are responsible for the whole fault resolution, including but not limited to remote diagnostics, third party contact, scheduling engineers where necessary and clear communication with the client at all times.

Role includes:
~ Ensure timely logging of faults to the relevant supplier and remain compliant of SLA’s
~ Liaise with the customer on all faults at regular intervals in line with procedure ensuring all faults are logged and driven with supplier to resolution.
~ Ensure faults are picked up and progressed in a timely fashion to be compliant with SLA’s
~ Overcome technical issues with regard to faults processes.
~ Provide technical advice to customers either on or off site as required by the business.
~ Support customers out of hours in fault or disaster recovery situations.

To be considered for the role candidates must have had previous experience within a technical support role. You must also possess excellent customer service skills and have a clear telephone manner.

In return my client is offering:

Salary: £26,000per year

Hours: Mon – Fri 8am – 6.15pm (On a rota basis)
1 in approximately 11 weeks on call – This involves taking mobile and laptop home to deal with out of hours emergencies (Rota in place several months in advance)
2 x 15 minutes breaks and a 45 minute lunch
