Private Family Paralegal
Coventry/Hybrid Working – up to £27,600 per annum
We are working with an award-winning, Lexcel accredited, Legal 500-listed law firm who are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to assist busy fee earners with their private family caseloads.
This will initially be a support role, however we’re looking for someone who wants to qualify as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive within the next two years.
The role will involve:
* Supporting two busy fee earners in the Family Law Department, with all aspects of their private family law caseloads
* Liaising with clients and third party professionals
* Preparing trial bundles
* Attending client meetings
* In time, progressing to manage your own simple family law cases
Suitable Candidates will have:
* Previous experience (min 12 months), supporting a Private Family Law Department
* A law degree
* Ideally LPC or CILEx Level 3 qualification
* The desire to qualify as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive within the next two years
This is a full-time, permanent job which will be predominantly home-based, however flexibility will be required to attend the office as well for client meetings, preparing bundles for trials etc.. Candidates should therefore live within a 45 minute commute of Coventry.
